SFD Program 2012

The 2012 Biennual Seneca Falls Dialogues event was a tremendous success, attracting students, women’s studies professors and researchers, and interested women and men who made the pilgrimage to historic Seneca Falls on the weekend of October 19-21. The Upstate New York community gathered participants from around the region to discuss The Politics of Leadership and Civil Rights. Keynote speaker Dr. Nancy Hewitt of Rutgers University led conversation about race and suffrage, and the dialogues closed with a presentation by SNCC (Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee) members Judy Richardson, Betty Robinson, and Dorothy Zeller.
